Saturday turned out to be the best day of the Kentucky Crappie Trail season so far as the temps went from 96 to 78 over night.
This change got the crappie moving and feeding as our Barren River divisional tournament results showed. Our winners had a new KCT high for a 7 keeper limit during our two seasons with 8.97lbs! Congrats to Jack Butler and Danny Lowe on the great bag.
Tournament totaled 9 boats with two bags over 8lbs hitting the scale. Mostly new guys came out which is great news for the Barren River division knowing the regulars heading back next event to what seems like will be a great crowd all season. Here are the top 3 results from 10/5/19.
1st Butler/Lowe 8.97lbs and big fish of 1.56lbs; 2nd Johns/Johns 8.45lbs; 3rd Fulong/Garrett 7.43lbs.
