Welcome to Championship Week! This Saturday we will be crowning a new KCT State Champion at Taylorsville Lake!
This is not an open tournament as anglers must have qualified for this event by fishing at least two tournaments from any division combined during the 2019/20 covid shortened season.
Tournament hours will be 8:00am-3:00pm eastern time with your chips back by 4:00pm or disqualified.Check-in will last from 6:30am-7:45am at the Possum Ridge parking lot. Trucks will drive right past our check-in tent for a live well check and you are good to prep your boat and head out on the lake when ready. Lines are in at 8:00am sharp, NO EARLIER and out NO LATER than 3:00pm.
10″ minimum with 7 keepers. Fish must be alive when you turn your chip in. Please show your fish to a director when you return IF you have any struggling fish to deem them OK. If you do not show the fish and it dies while waiting to weigh-in, it will be tossed out. Anyone who weighs-in a short fish will also be disqualified for breaking state laws. No fishing within 150ft of a usable dock/marina.
Anglers who pre-fish MUST BE OFF LAKE by 5:00pm Friday evening.Weigh-in will begin approximately 3:15pm and we hope to go live on this KCT page barring service.
Winning team isSUBJECT TO POLYGRAPH TEST after the tournament has completed. If you are not ok with this, do not fish. DO NOT CHEAT THIS TRAIL! DO NOT FISH BEFORE OR AFTER THE ALLOWED TIMES! If you are caught, you and partner will be banned for life, prosecuted to the max!!!
If anyone has a protest or issue, you must submit that to me as soon as you get off water, in a discreet manner.
There will be no trailering for state and once checked-in you may not leave the ramp area for anything like minnows, food, drinks etc. or you are not allowed to fish. Possum Ridge only.
We will be providing at no cost brats for all donated by Purnell’s “Old Folks” Sausage and drinks when you are off the water.
