It was yet again another fun Saturday for the Kentucky Crappie Trail. On Saturday September 28th KCT hosted tournaments on Lake Cumberland and Yatesville Lake.
Our KCT Lake Cumberland division began their 2019/20 season with 11 strong boats. Winners went to Dix/Slavey with 7.30lbs and big fish of 1.47lbs. Congratulations guys on the great day of crappie fishing.
Top 3 results: 1st Dix/Slavey 7.30lbs; 2nd Kersey/Rogers 5.62lbs; 3rd Gadberry/Stevens 5.14lbs.
Thanks to director Braxton Deaton for putting on a great show and to everyone who participated and made the opening event a good one after last seasons basic washout on Cumberland due to flooding. Next divisional tournament will be October 12th.
Over at Yatesville Lake our Eastern KY/Cave Run division with director David Salisbury had their second tournament of the season and first ever on Yatesville.
Congrats to Fitch/Preece on the win with their 5.70lbs and big fish of 1.30lbs.
Top 3 results: 1st Fitch/Preece 5.70lbs; 2nd Mays/Nickell 1.80lbs; 3rd Pauley/Salisbury 1.24lbs.
